After getting the new iPhone 4 on the launch day 24th June, I have been testing it out, and seeing how it compares with the 3GS.
Ok the first issue was with the Signal drop, Known as the death grip. This is due to the exposed metal band around the case. (Being a licensed Radio Ham, I understand the issue), But as I was going to be using a case with my device, I do not suffer like others have.
Apple today 15th July 2010, has released a update to 4.0.1 to address the signal bar levels as it seems the reported levels are not what AT&T would like to see.
The new improved camera really does make all the images stand out. Along with the flash, photos in bad light or even no light are able to be taken. Video recording in 720p HD, and editing movies on the fly with iMovie is quick and easy.
The new screen display really makes the iPhone 4 stand out from other models before, using more pixels than the human eyes is meant to be able to see, you not longer get rough edges to letter, now just nice clear smooth edges.
Multi-tasking within iOS 4, makes working on more than one application a lot better, not you can return to an application, where you left it. Seems Apple what how users really want to use their devices.
Lets see what apple have to say at their Press Release on Friday, if they will be doing a recall regarding the signal issue, or offering a rebate, like on the early iPhone.
